Olay BodyScience Creme Body Wash Review: Home Buddies Giveaway

Thursday, November 18, 2021

Note:  Although this Olay package was given to me, I'll post my honest review about it.

Thank you Home Buddies and Olay Philippines for giving your Olay Body Creme bundle to 3000 Budol patrols out of 20,000 of us.

Home Buddies Facebook group is already popular and here's the shortcut to their group.

How I got these Olay Bodyscience items

I received text messages from Blitz Delivery telling me that a package from Olay will be delivered soon to me, but I did not know back then where it came from because I don't know where did I join any contest. I searched about Olay Philippines giveaway, then I read posts that the body wash bundle came from Home Buddies Budol Patrol where I signed up through the Google form link they posted.

My visit to Dr. Smile

Tuesday, March 11, 2014

Oral Prophylaxis, popularly known as Teeth cleaning, is essential to prevent gum diseases and to make our teeth cleaner. This procedure can be done every once, twice or thrice a year depending on your teeth.

Every time I have my teeth cleaning, I make an appointment to a dental clinic in Novaliches. Luckily, I have a Maxicare card and the clinic accepts it. But currently, I have a hard time going to the dental clinic's area due to my other commitments that is why I sent a private message to the Maxicare page. Thanks to their Maxibear profile picture that I was encouraged to greet Maxibear in a private message. (゜▽゜;)

The page admin promptly replied to the message. Since I gave my Maxicare ID number and the company affiliated with it, the admin sent me information through email.

Upon the list, I chose DR. SMILE DENTAL CARE & LASER CENTER - SM North Annex.

I called Dr Smile and made an appointment. Dr Smile is usually fully booked on weekends so I booked mine on Friday then, which is Jan 31, the Chinese New Year. I am glad that day is holiday so I do not need to report for work.

After two weeks, staff in Dr Smile texted me and reminded me for the appointment schedule. The day after, I went to Dr Smile.

Dr smile review

The polite receptionist and other staff greeted me. I showed my Maxicare card and they gave me a form so I can fill it up for their records. I was fascinated that they have about 5 private dental rooms in this clinic.

The rooms are tidy and have cute designs. I entered on a room and I asked permission from the staff if I can take pictures because I cannot resist to not share the room's design. Because of this, I decided to do a Dr Smile review here in SM North.

I did not expect that two people (dentist and the staff) will work on my Oral Prophylaxis. They are polite and kind as well. I felt that they have really a hard time cleaning my teeth because the last time I have Oral Prophylaxis was about more than seven months ago.

Overall, Dr smile did a great job. The clinic is not only great on the outside but also have great service. I will be visiting this clinic again sometime for teeth filling.

Pinay Food Junkie: My new blog about food

Sunday, January 26, 2014

Since almost of my posts nowadays are related to food. I made a new Filipino food blog. Check this out!

Pinay Food Junkie

This is my blog about my honest food reviews and restaurant experiences :)

Since my new site keyword search is still unsearchable in Top 3 search engines, I will share my first 4 food blog posts:

Ramen Santouka vs Kichitora of Tokyo Shoyu Ramen

Tous Les Jours: Apple Inspiration Cake review

I hope you can visit these. Thanks!

Celina's cafe and restaurant

Sunday, November 4, 2012

Hi again everybody! I didn't update my blog for so long because of my vacation in Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen (China) and Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia). Also, I procrastinated in doing posts about my vacation. You can also inquire/comment for these countries' tourist information such as transpo, places to visit, etc.

Since you are curious about the deals in TCAT and Metrodeal, now, here is our experience in Celina's Cafe and Restaurant in Tagaytay using our metrodeal vouchers.

We expected that the place will be like an eatery style. When we reached there,  Celina's is really a restaurant and a decent place despite it's cheap buffet.

It's dinner time and the wind's really cold like a Baguio breeze.

I know that my iPod's camera sucked and I used this anyway to capture the supposedly beautiful orange moon

Now back to the resto, the con for the metrodeal voucher promo is.......

The actual price of the buffet is also P299 not P600. I knew it already when I searched blogs about this but since food is delicious and cheap according to them, we decided to buy this deal.
An additional con for this is, the signage on the highway near Gerry's Grill isn't big, isn't bright and hardly read/seen.

The pros...
I enjoyed their food because it's really delicious and worth for its price. The staff are approachable and courteous. Their specialties are bulalo and the salads.

Looks mediocre, right! But when you taste these, it's really yummy :)

The other one's Kare Kare

Sisig and burger mushroom with gravy
Papaitan and the delicious/almost meat not bones bulalo

The resto has also a water dispenser. Despite the inclusion of cafe on it's name, coffee isn't included in the buffet and you have to order it on an expensive price of P75 and I will rather buy a cup of coffee at Starbucks.

Celina's is located near (not inside) Summit Ridge and within restaurants of Gerry's Grill.

Rai Rai Ken

Saturday, August 6, 2011

This is my second time here in Rai Rai Ken - Ali Mall branch

I ordered Gomoku Ramen, 3 pcs. Gyoza and 3 pcs. Ebi Tempura.

I like the music they played and I always heard "Rai Rai Ken Radio"

Last time I visited, there's a 50% discount on ramen. Now, there's a 50% discount on ramen if I buy 3pcs of gyoza worth 65Php so I ordered it.

Blenz Coffee or Seattle's Best

Saturday, July 23, 2011

I passed by Seattle's Coffee in Trinoma last week. I never planned to eat in this coffee shop but I can't resist to try their coffee so I ended ordering pesto with bread and an iced latte

Review : ang mga kaibigan ni mama susan

Sunday, February 20, 2011

Yun mga kuwento noong una ay parang slice of life genre.

Nasusupense pa man din ako.

Lupin III vs Detective Conan tv special review

Saturday, August 28, 2010

I knew this movie already last year but I just watched this movie last week.

I didn't expect that Lupin and Conan will have battle of the wits because the vs. in japanese movies are more on cooperation/team-up of crossover characters instead of the fights/battles between them.

The whole plot is good. Ran and Princess Mira are totally alike. I thought Goemon will not appear in this movie but at last he did. Detective Mori is dumb as usual. One of my favorite female anime chracters, Fujiko, is really pretty hot and cool.

I really love the scene where Conan is chasing Fujiko and Princess Mira by using his skateboard. His stunts are deathtifying.

What I am not satisfied is Lupin and the gang had already known about Conan's true name and identity without an explanation. I think there must be an explanation because almost the episodes of these two series have explanations behind plans or cases.

Overall the movie is good and really worth watching or buying a copy. A literal vs or battle of the wits between them will be greater.

Kuroshitsuji 2 episode 6 raw from Keyhole TV

Friday, August 6, 2010

I have watched this episode earlier this day 1:20 (Japan time) something in the morning Friday which is 12:20 am in the Philippines.

I almost lose hope that MBS would be online because it didn't appeared on my keyhole tv and then I watched an Asuka cosplayer singing a karaoke version of Cruel Angel Thesis. When the clock has stricken at 12:25 am on my time, it became online and then I am able to watch it from the opening credits till the end.

I cannot wait for English subs because i only understand basic Japanese words. ( readers walking away (" _ ).. Hey wait please)

I really love this episode and it is so bad-ass. When the triplets fought Sebastian, it sucked because it didn't show the way or move on how they escaped the ladder attack. Anyway, I really love the fight between Sebastian and Claude.

Meanwhile, inside the manor, Ciel's friends are also really affected by Hannah's musical instrument. I amazed that Agni wasn't affected even he didn't cover his ears. Agni's and Ranmao's fighting is so cool. I also appreciate Prince Soma, Meirin, Bard and Finny for pawning those guests.

I am glad they've shown the clip and a little bit of explanation from the last episode of season 1. I wonder what the agreement between Sebastian and Claude is all about. They even did a blood compact. They used their own blood and roses. I am sure that the paper Sebastian gave to Ciel is all about his own information and the past events so he will regain his memories.

Alois's costume is so cute!
When I watched episode 5, I thought Alois is so gay but when he was in the party, he is a bit of masculine. His attitude isn't only bipolar but also his manners (sexuality I think).

The added excitement in this episode is when Alois courted Elizabeth. It is unexpected. I cannot wait for Alois and Ciel fight for the next week.

Good Luck for the subbers. Thanks for them that we can watch and share this anime.

K'naan - The now rising Afropop star!

Monday, June 14, 2010

Before the World Cup 2010 came, I am already aware of K'naan. He is a Somali-Canadian poet, rapper, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist.

This is one of his best songs:

About the Wavin Flag, this version has different lyrics from the Coca-Cola and World Cup song:

BTW, this is his 3rd song from the Troubadour album.

Waka Waka is great and catchy but I prefer this for the FIFA World Cup 2010 official song. Anyway this song has many versions and it looks more popular than Waka Waka.

K'naan is one of the underrated rappers but now, I think he will get what he deserves in the music industry.
