Tado is dead. I cannot believe it!
This is sad news for us that Arvin Jimenez a.k.a Tado is already dead. He was killed in a bus accident in Mt. Province. I will rejoice if those greedy people especially scumbag businessmen, politcians and Janet Napoles are dead instead of this good fellow.
It is really hard for me to admit it. I missed watching Strangebrew and his funny antics in television. He is a very funny and at the same time a smart guy and an entrepreneur.
I enjoyed watching his misadventures with Erning (Angel Rivero), Jun Sabayton and Ramon Bautista. I listened to Brewrats and liked their facebook page.
Even though I do not know them personally, their silliness and humanitarian advocacies made me feel that their intentions are really pure and can touch many hearts especially the youth's.
We miss your smile and the whole you. Goodbye Tado. :(

Alliance Française de Manille review
Bonjour à tous!
I took French classes for A1 not because I have passion for the French culture and especially not because I am a rich kid or a social climber, although I like the Adventures of Tintin, it is because I am working in a department where we serve French clients. We do emails, documents and other clerical tasks for them.
I and my teammates who didn't take the French course must enroll on our free French classes paid by our company. Luckily, the schedule of classes is within our office hours so it's a relief that we can have a little fun except if one's busy and must reach deadlines to submit documents to clients.
We had our first set of classes for 3 hours 3 times a week for about three months as long as I remember from April to June and the second set from October to November.
Personally, I like the professors. The first one is a Filipina who lived in France for so many years. The second is a French who can speak Chinese but he taught only for a short time and the last professor is also a French who can speak Tagalog and he lived here in the Philippines for ten years.
I have a hard time learning French because of the pronunciations and the spelling. Remembering the gender of things and accents such as á, ç, é and many more makes me confuse. Even I am experiencing this difficulties, the professors are fun especially the last one.
Inside our company's training room, we discuss lessons, answer activities on textbooks and online (obviously) educational french games, listen to audios, watch french movies on the last 1 1/2 hours of our class.
Since we miss our professors, we often eat at a fine dining restaurant to have a despedida.
I searched for French lesson apps and downloaded these on my ipod touch. I like the most is the free French - English dictionary app.
I hope I can take and pass the exam. After getting the A1 DELF certification. I hope I can get A2 French classes for free.
Beat karaoke bar
We went there after work to celebrate, sing and enjoy delicious snacks. I did sing on videokes before but only on restaurants and small stalls in arcades.
This is my first time going to a videoke bar
My friend reserved a room for 5. After office hours, we went there and got the biggest room. It is also the same night were Mickey Ferriols went there.

COSMOPOLITAN SALON vs. HEAVEN'S BEAUTY SALON & SPA
I really want to have a nice, smooth and straight hair but I don't have enough money back then for this hair treatment.
September 2009, My sisters gave me money for my first hair rebonding. My hair didn't got any treatment even hair relax and digital perming except for hair spa years ago.( In short, I have a virgin hair ^^ ) I decided to go to Cosmopolitan Salon - Dapitan branch
Their rebond with washable cellophane costs P1500. Having cellophane is a must so hair will not become brittle/damaged.
I got treated for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Even the salon is small, it has many customers especially students. (this branch is near UST). I didn't wash my hair for 3 days and I can clip my hair after 3 months. I know that hair must not be put behind the ear but after 1 month, I did it and my hair is still straight.
The staff said that I must have it power dosed or I have to get my hair treated every 1 or 2 months so I can maintain my healthy hair but I really didn't follow it. I know that my hair isn't really dry to get those treatments and if it isn't, there are many home made remedies or I can use oil to prevent brittleness/dryness.
This is my hair 7 months after the treatment. Hair is really a crowning glory and it made a huge difference in my appearance.
My rebonded hair lasted for one year. I got my haircut at Tony and Jacky, a korean salon, so I can grew my hair longer with a style and without having a growing frizzy hair.
I don't want to get my hair rebonded during hot days so I don't get sweat too much. I really waited for November or December.
Three days ago, I decided to get my hair rebonded again. I visited Heaven's Beauty Salon & Spa (Quirino Highway, Sangandaan branch). My elder sister also got her hair rebonded in that salon and she is getting good results. Not only good results but also results in a cheap price. The salon is well maintained. The surroundings look more nicer than most cheap salons. Cosmopolitan has more branches than Heaven's but Heaven's (Novaliches branch) has a bigger space.
I know the picture quality sucked. I used my Ericsson cellphone. I cannot capture the salon's front and also the sign board because it is too bright outside and the phone has no zoom feature.
My elder sister availed rebond w/ permanent cellophane for 1300.
Darn it! I didn't reach their promo period so I got Package 2 - hair rebond w/ permanent cellophane and haircut for P1227.
I ate first at Jollibee. Then, I went to Heaven's at 9am. I was the first customer that day. They got many customers. Majority of them will have hair rebond treatments, foot spa and pedicure because they availed the P1400 package. The salon has a security guard. Most of the staff are male. There are only 4 females including the receptionist. I expect that the two gays will be in the hair cut service but for my mistake, they are in the spa service.
My treatment was finished at 3pm. The salon closes at midnight.
Hair rebonding here costs 750. If w/ permanent cellophane, it costs 1185.
Their 1400 hair rebond package has foot spa, power dose, keratin and other treatments included.
My younger sister also went this morning to get her hair rebonded.
COSMOPOLITAN SALON: near UST dapitan gate.
Pros: accommodating staff, cheap price, popular salon
Cons: the sink makes my neck stiff.
HEAVEN'S BEAUTY SALON & SPA: near Jollibee and Mang Inasal. (see also the pics above so you can get clue about the surroundings)
351 Quirino Highway Brgy Sangandaan, Quezon City
Tel no: 3920309
Pros: more accommodating staff, cheaper price with a nice space and a well maintained ambiance than other cheap salons.
Cons: No magazines or other reading materials. I suggest you should bring something to read or play so you won't get bored.
Cafe Mary Grace
The reason for not updating within more than one month is being busy on my first job. I cannot leave this blog like this so I will share to you my food/restaurant review.
I ate at Cafe Mary Grace - Trinoma branch, ground floor, near National Bookstore.
My curiosity about a small space with a home style ambiance feeling makes me want to try their desserts. Since I am really a pasta lover, I end up eating pasta and a slice of tiramisu.
They have magazines while you wait. Tables are filled with nice notes/stationeries addressing to Mary Grace.
For pastas, prices ranges from 260+ pesos. The tiramisu slice is P90+
I ate their tiramisu. The taste is okay. I should bought a slice of their mango or strawberry cake instead of this. If you are a coffee addict. This will surely satisfies your appetite.
Their carbonara is so delicious. Their pasta is a thin fettuccine (not the normal wide ones). They cooked it really al dente. The white sauce has bacon bits also and some green vegetable bits.
(Sorry for not having the pics of the food I ate because I didn't have my cellphone that time ^^)
The staff are really friendly and accommodating. Service charge is 8% so it's okay if you will not give them a tip.
If you stumbled in this cafe, Try it! It will be worth your visit and appetite!

RPN 9 and IBC 13
I heard last night about the government's plan to sell both tv networks. For me this is good news because employees especially the older ones will be more motivated to do their craft. Broadcasting equipments will be new and they can hopefully reign again.
I hope the government will have a buyer that can really manage to have a responsible news reporting. Our Philippine entertainment industry will be flourished and viewers can choose more programs that are suitable to their preferences.

Noynoy (PNoy) the 15th president and Binay Inauguration
I first saw on the inauguration coverage the part when President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) and President-elect Benigno Aquino III (Noynoy/PNoy) greeted each other and rode inside the luxury car. ( I don't give a shit what kind of car and I wonder how did they manage to be plastic to each other. I think they talked about corruption and her appointed officials).
President GMA and Noynoy stood each other first on Quirino Grandstand before they separate. With the entrance of Noynoy to the stage, comes Jejomar Binay coming from his (electrical jeepney) E-jeep. He looks cool there.
Charice Pempengco sang the national anthem and I am glad she gave it justice. I am sure that the National Historical (Hysterical) Institute will not criticize her.
It seems that Noynoy and Binay are really friends because of how they chat even when singers are performing.
I missed the APO for their nice songs and I am glad they performed also today. Noel Cabangon has the longest stage appearance among the singers so he can fill the remaining time to the exact inauguration schedule which is 11:30 to 12 ( exact oath of the president ).
Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile read the Congress' proclamation of Noynoy and Binay. Mr. Enrile's mind is sharp and he looks healthy in spite of his old age.
At 11:40 ( I don't know if it is exact), the now vice president, Jejomar Cabauatan Binay took his oath and it was administered by Associate Justice Conchita Morales-Carpio.
At 12, Noynoy took his oath and it was also administered by the same associate justice.
His inaugural speech is about fighting corruption and injustices. He wants a change like the Filipino people. My favorite is he promised there’ll be no “wang wangs” (convoys of stupid officials that use sirens to be given way on roads) and “kotongs” (bribe). He also promised to be a good example and proved it by being on time for the ceremony and stopping on stop lights and not using “wang wangs” for his convoy.
Best of all, I love that he said "Sa mga nang-api sa akin, kaya ko kayong patawarin at pinapatawad ko na kayo. Sa mga nang-api sa sambayanan, wala akong karapatan na limutin ang inyong mga kasalanan."
and " There can be no reconciliation without justice."
I think his inauguration has the largest crowd compared to the past presidents because those people are Ninoy and Cory supporters while others are sellers of the Noynoy merchandise.
Nevertheless, people (including me) are still optimistic about our country's future
