Noynoy (PNoy) the 15th president and Binay Inauguration

I first saw on the inauguration coverage the part when President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (GMA) and President-elect Benigno Aquino III (Noynoy/PNoy) greeted each other and rode inside the luxury car. ( I don't give a shit what kind of car and I wonder how did they manage to be plastic to each other. I think they talked about corruption and her appointed officials).

President GMA and Noynoy stood each other first on Quirino Grandstand before they separate. With the entrance of Noynoy to the stage, comes Jejomar Binay coming from his (electrical jeepney) E-jeep. He looks cool there.

Charice Pempengco sang the national anthem and I am glad she gave it justice. I am sure that the National Historical (Hysterical) Institute will not criticize her.

It seems that Noynoy and Binay are really friends because of how they chat even when singers are performing.

I missed the APO for their nice songs and I am glad they performed also today. Noel Cabangon has the longest stage appearance among the singers so he can fill the remaining time to the exact inauguration schedule which is 11:30 to 12 ( exact oath of the president ).

Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile read the Congress' proclamation of Noynoy and Binay. Mr. Enrile's mind is sharp and he looks healthy in spite of his old age.

At 11:40 ( I don't know if it is exact), the now vice president, Jejomar Cabauatan Binay took his oath and it was administered by Associate Justice Conchita Morales-Carpio.

At 12,  Noynoy took his oath and it was also administered by the same associate justice.

His inaugural speech is about fighting corruption and injustices. He wants a change like the Filipino people. My favorite is he promised there’ll be no “wang wangs” (convoys of stupid officials that use sirens to be given way on roads) and “kotongs” (bribe). He also promised to be a good example and proved it by being on time for the ceremony and stopping on stop lights and not using “wang wangs” for his convoy.

Best of all, I love that he said  "Sa mga nang-api sa akin, kaya ko kayong patawarin at pinapatawad ko na kayo. Sa mga nang-api sa sambayanan, wala akong karapatan na limutin ang inyong mga kasalanan."

and " There can be no reconciliation without justice."

I think his inauguration has the largest crowd compared to the past presidents because those people are Ninoy and Cory supporters while others are sellers of the Noynoy merchandise.

Nevertheless, people (including me) are still optimistic about our country's future
